2. Re: TMG-L: Narrative Reports [1]
I am not clear as to what your problem is. 1. You don't have to have any filters to make a narrative report fro one person, his spouse and descendants. All you need is his ID and a selections of the report options. There is a descendancy narrative and a genelaogy report with 4 variations. 2. By convention of the genealogical societies that established the report formats, a person's birth name is always used in reports. When a woman marries and assumes her husbands surname, in reports, her birth name
3. TMG-L: Skipping a generation [1]
First, let me state for all those who may wonder, given the tenor of some of the posts I've read in the past couple of weeks, I've never had a lick of trouble with TMG. 6. TMG-L: Re: TMG file structure (was Purpose of Various Files) [1]
Thanks to Lee & Allen for their responses to my query. I don't know why I missed the listing at WG but that answered most of what I was looking for. Although I knew that files with the DBF extension were the database files, I didn't know which type of data fit into the various FILENA_%.DBF and why some of my data sets included one letter while another data set did not. Now it's clear. Steven Chall in Minneapolis, MN =|:-) Allen provided: The file structure document can still be found at
