1. RE: [TMG] TMG5 data files [1]
Make a backup file and send him the .sqz file. That is a zipped file. 2. [TMG] List of events with no sources [1]
Why can't I get a list of events that are not sourced? I ordered a filtered list of events (Any Cit: Source Number Equals 0) END and I get "0" results! Now, I know I have events that are not sourced. How do I get a listing of these? My ultimate goal for a listing would be: (All Descendants of Person # 4148) AND (Any Cit: Source Number Equals 0) to catch all those unsourced records in this particular line. Is there anyway to do that? Cathy

6. Re: [TMG] Entering French places redux [1]
Kathy, Sorry if I missed your point. There is a problem that you should think about. The value for County in this example is very long. So on that ground you will find that outputting it on a chart will make the boxes enlarged, so you might be tempted not to output County. But then you will have turned off the output of County for all those US places where County is important. It's your call as to whether this is the kind of answer you wanted? Hence my concern - we don't have enough slots and we don't

8. Re: [TMG] Cursor Starting Position When Adding Person TMG 5 [1]
If we can't have the cursor starting on the Given Name Field then what if the cursor started on the Title Field instead of the ID Field as it presently does - at least that is only one move down manually to the Given Name Field and is far less clumsy. My personal opinion - I would prefer to start on the Given Name Field as I find when entering in a persons details the Given Name Field is naturally my first port of call then I look at entering other information regarding the person. Kind Regards Roz Voull

I don't understand your instructions. Or, perhaps I am reading them correctly, but my product behaves differently. I tried doing what I thought you meant and here's what I get: Double Click TMG icon (TMG Opens) "Unlock the Full Version" screen is displayed on top of TMG window. Click Window out of Full Screen Mode and adjust so you can see everything. Click on Close (Unlock Window). Window closes and "Welcome to.../selection" window appears. There is still NO Edit menu, anywhere. Only logica

Yes, that's definitely one place it happens and is reproduceable. click add husband/wife scroll down and click in the marriage date field enter a date and press tab to go to the next field you don't move to the next field, you just get a space or tab char entered in the date field. 15. [TMG] Just install 5.0? [1]
Boy, go on vacation for a week and bam, over 100 digest messages! Trying to catch up and have about 25 more to go but reading what I have I was wondering. Right before I went on vacation my cd reader went out nastily and actually corrupted my disk drive, I had to start from scratch (thank god for backups!)... Anyway, I decide to just do a new XP install and got that far before vacation. Now that I am back and am reinstalling all my programs and have not done TMG yet. Would I be better off getting V.5

I have a problem that I am hoping that someone can advise me on. Yesterday my computer froze up while I had TMG open. I had to reboot and now I cannot get back into the program. When I try to launch the program I get an error message that states: Error #41 Error type: Memo file is missing/invalid Program Module: MKIDK Line No. 227 I have a backup of my data but I cannot get into the program to restore the backup. I emailed tech support yesterday afternoon but I haven't heard back from them yet. Does
20. [TMG] Back-up question [1]
Good grief - even I can do it! I did the download, got V.5 up and running and imported my data. The first of myriad V.5 questions: When I exit and am prompted for back-up and say "yes" I come to a screen which has unfamiliar terms. I assume the top two spaces should stay on the default, i.e. the data base I am working in at the moment and the back-up type (sqz, etc.), but where does it let me select the drive for the back-up to go on? And what is the exact title of the space where I select drive D? I
