2. Descendants Indented Report - Spouse Issue [1]
I want to create a Descendant Indented Report for 1 individual and several generations of descendants. I want the spouses for each generation, but I do not get them for the last generation of children even though I have selected "spouses to print". What am I doing wrong? Diana Powell

John, The GEDCOM is correct for your data as it stands. This is a data issue. Here's the issue... A marriage group tag denotes a marriage based on the principals assigned to the tag. The following are five different marriages. Marriage group tag P1=John Marriage group tag P1=John P2=Jane Marriage group tag P1= Jane Marriage group tag P1=John P2=Sally Marriage group tag P1 = Sally Looking at John Andrew Little (3) You have 3 marriage group tags Marriage P1=John P2=Sheila <== marriage 1 Ceremony P1=Joh

Thanks, Terry. I guess I do have a situation somewhat like that but my own OBIT tag has NO SENTENCE so I thought I could avoid the problem. However, it did print my MEMO even without a sentence. I thought that rather strange because I have seen tags with just [M] in the sentence, so I initially assumed it was needed. --but it worked anyway, so I was thinking "Well mine prints anyway -- I don't need that". Just position the cursor over the vertical bar at the end of one of the toolbar sections, hold down the mouse left button and drag slightly down until a second row appears. Take some trials, but you then have two times the space. You could change words to icons on the bar, but then you have to remember what icon was what.
