Dear Claiborne Listserver,
I am new to your list and posted a query a few days ago about the PUGH an
MINTON families. I went to the Claiborne County Pioneer page hosted by Denny
and Marla and found some information I have been searching for for many
years. I just need more information. I hope that someone on this list can
help me, please.

Hello Cousins,
The Claiborne County Pioneer Project website has been updated and ready for
your perusal. There are now more than 95,000 folks identified as having lived
in at one time or another in Claiborne County. I think when we first went
online with this a few years back we started at 10,000 so we've come along way
baby! Thanks to Marla and Denny Brubakers hard work and dedication and to Dusti
and her computer talents for enabling the Genealogy Community to expand our

As of today I have over 600 bios of folks buried in the Cemeteries of
Claiborne County. Thanks to all that have participated so far. We have some really
interesting people buried there that's for certain.
Some of the bios are just little ones stating something along the lines of
"husband of" or "wife of", etc., etc., but some include related News articles,
obits, Civil War Service, etc., etc., so they can be as small as you want or as
large and elaborate as you want but please contribute something t

Okay folks we're on!
I've confirmed with Sandy the Claiborne County Librarian that we'll be there
Friday, May 21st, and Saturday, May 22nd. I'm going to say we'll be there
both days at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. but we will all stay until not needed any
longer both days. If we can't help everyone by 12:00 we'll stay until we're
done or the Library closes whichever comes first.
Sandy's going to do up a flier to put in the Library to let everyone know
we're coming. And we'll try and get it in the Progr

List Members,
Need some help. About a year and a half ago, I met two fellows at the
Wilderness Road State Park that play Rev. War musis. I thought I had
their names but can't find them. Does any one on the list know who they
might be or anyone else that does the same. We would like for them to
perform for about 30 minutes or so before/during the Charter Dinner.
By the way, our Chapter now has 33 members but we want more. If there
is anyone interested in joinging the Sons of the American Revolution,

Hello Cousins,
Denny and Marla didn't have the answer to this, so I'm hoping someone on the

through the cracks somehow.
Thanks,
