Carol, I am a Walker researcher, unfortunately I do not at this time connect to your line. I have used the Rootsweb Walker DNA project to find relatives. Howard Mac (McGinnis) Trapp, Retired, who was the second of six children born to be born to James Fantly Trapp and his wife Minnie Walker Trapp died March 24, 2006 at 2:00 a.m. He was the last of this generation to pass away. Do you know anything about Caldonia Bain who married FA Walker on Feb 18, 1875? I believe that Cally and FA had a son by the name of Lonnie who then had a son by the name of Levon Walker. Levon is buried in McMinnville, TN (along with both his mother and father). I am looking for information on when Cally died, where she is buried and proof of who her father is. Mitch, I was not enthused with the book Mr. Partlow did on that book. Also.... Awhile back, you mentioned DNA results that match our George and Silvey Smith family in Dekalb County to some Pennsylvania Germans. Do you have any additional info on that? I lost the link when my other computer crashed. Just found out my paternal great-grandfather Smith (Schmitt) was a German immigrant to Ohio 1860's or 70's. My brick wall is with Alexander Walker, born Nov. 26, 1775 in NC or SC. He died on July 31, 1855 in Dekalb County, TN. He had several children. I come from his son William. There were two older daughters named Mahalia & Nancy. Alexander's son William married Teletha Martin & they lived in Dekalb & Warren counties, TN. Their son Alexander L. Carolyn could your Solomon Goodman have been married to a Polly Sullivan. My 3rd great grandfather, John R Jones married Jennie Sullivan the dau of George Sullivan. Carolyn, In the Marriage books for 1848 - 1900 there are two and a half columns of Johnson's there are 6 James, 1 J.B., 1 J. H., 1 J. J., 4 J. L., 2 J. W., that is 15 names on different pages.
