Looking for info on Samuel Dunn m. to Mary Jane Dunn. They had a daughter named Anna Eliza Dunn, born 1860.
Randy, I can't help you with the Foutch Surname. If you will go to my
DeKalb County, TnGenWeb page and go about 3/4 of the way down on the main
page to "DeKalb County Surnames" and click on "A-L". You will find several
people that are researching that name.

I have been following the list requests for 8 or 9 months and am just now getting a chance to request help for research on my line of the Foutch family. In 1964 my grandmother gave me information that she could recall about her family and I am finally trying to follow up and expand on what she told me. Her name was Hettie Inez Foutch(1893-1973) Her brothers and sisters were as follows:Cora Foutch(b 1872)-married Will Malone;Noah H Foutch(b1878-d1963)-married Effie Green Malone;Agenna Foutch(b1881)-married

Looking for ancestors/siblings/descendants of my gggrandmother, Susan
V. Young b. 7 May 1832 Tn. and m. Anderson Bird Randolph in Franklin
Co., Il. 10 Aug 1854. His family migrated from I believe Bledsoe Co.,
Tn. in the late 1840's to Saline Co.,Il. Any help appreciated. I do
not know parents or siblings; I think perhaps she might have had a
brother named Benjamin S., but am not sure. She's my brick wall. Are
there any Young descendants out there?

I meant to say Smithville, De Kalb Co., Tenn.
I am trying to connect the above name Merritt to my Merritt's from Dekalb
County. Lum married two Manus women (Bettie E. & Jennie Catherine) in Cannon
County, TN. Would everyone check their census records, etc. and see if they
can find anything on him. Any information would be appreciated.
He is not listed in Dekalb County census records but I do not have Cannon or
Rutherford County census recordsfor 1880 and above.
Thanks for everyone's time. Hopefully I can get some leads here....Robie

You KNOW that Liberty (now Dekalb County) was in Smith County before
1837.----
When was the Liberty Cumberland Pres. Church established?--The Salem Baptist
church yard in Liberty WAS the community graveyard for years. However, most
of the settlers were buried in family plots on their individual farms.

Does anyone know if there are records anywhere as who is buried at Salem
Cemetery in Liberty and the location of their grave?
I have located my great-grandmother in the Salem Cemetery, she has a
tombstone. Her name:Charity Elizabeth Allen Woodside. She was married to
James Knox Woodside. He died in 1922 and according to his death certificate
his body was moved to Liberty, TN for burial. I think it would be a
reasonable assumption to believe that he is buried next to his wife at the
Salem Cemetery, th
Kathleen,
I haven't been following the virus discussion, so I don't know the extent of
it. BUT, today I opened an email on the TNDEKALB list and it contained a
nasty virus. Thankfully, NORTON intercepted it and it couldn't activate.
However, the only way to delete it is through the NORTON Quarentine program
or something similar.
The virus is in an email from pherron@mindspring.con and is entitled TNDEKALB
Gen Circles. If you run across it, please delete ASAP.

I am searching for info. relative to Iverson L Brooks who came to Tennesse about 1849-1850
and I think attended law school there somewhere. He married a Bettie A Lee or Lea in 1857-59
somewhere in Tennessee, she was born in TN in 1843 ? They were in Arkansas by 1860 with 2
children. Iverson l Brooks came from Caswell Co NC. Any info is helpfull,
especially for Bettie (Elizabeth?)
AND I found some TN site that may be of some interest to someone.

Hi,
Does anyone have information on the church listed above. Did this church
have a Cemetery Plot, and was it perhaps listed in a Cemetery Book.
It is not listed in the DeKalb Co. Cemetery book that I have. Also, was
Liberty, DeKalb Co. at one time in another county?
Thanks in advance.

and William E. "Billie" Foutch married (2nd) Hetta "Hettie" Bradley about
1835 in
