1. [TNGIBSON-L] Census Lookup needed [1]
Hi- Does anyone have access to the Gibson County census of 1910 or 1920? I am desperate need of a lookup. I know the entire household on both censuses but what I need is to find out where my great grandfather's parents were born. I had someone look up my great grandfather & his children several years ago in the soundex but it didn't list the last lines that included where his parents were born. I'm having terrible trouble (7 years worth) locating my great grandfathers parents & this might give the help

6. Re: [TNGIBSON-L] Land Deed Interpretation [1]
Eddy, Thank you. A very interesting history lesson. Last summer I copied seven pages of these abstracts from some 1986 Family Findings and I've been trying to figure them out ever since. I see the same names, as assignees, on many of these deeds. Butler, McNairy, Phillips, Pinson and others. These men were most likely purchasing the land from the soldiers or their heirs? Thank you again for clearing this up for me. Karla In a message dated 98-07-06 02:09:30 EDT, you write: << It's my understanding

Although it didn't give me the answers I was looking for, I really enjoyed reading about town and the people of the town. There was a couple of people whose kin married into my Binyon line (Turner/Billinsley), so it was really interesting. Thanks for letting me know about it. Angela ---------- > From: Eddy G.
