We have a link for the Young family on our family links page and it no longer works. I can't remember who sent it.
Does anyone know what happened to it or if it's been moved?
Thanks, Vicki
Dyersburg is in Dyer Co., TN. You might have better luck on the Dyer Co list than this one, if you need lookups in Dyer Co. records.
Are your parents still living, and if not, do you know where they died and were buried? If you don't know, you can probably still find them because their names are not the most common.
Dyersburg may be big enough to have a city directory. You can check to see when their names disappeared from the city directory. You can check the addresses where they lived and if they mo
On the 1877 Beers Map of Landowners in Gibson County, there is a R. Heath in
the center of District 1. I found him out of curiosity because in the 1880
census my gggrandmother's place of residence in the 1880 census is listed as
Heaths. I posted to the website to see if anyone knew why it was listed this
was but did not get a response. At the genealogy room at the Jackson Madison
County Library the suggestion was made that perhaps it was connected to a

How about a year of birth (even approximate), so people can offer suggestions?

Marvin- a suggestion: The 1880 census (on LDS site) shows 24 Sellers or
Sellars in Gibson county representing about 5 families. They may even all be
related. Some had children of the age that your Richards parents would be in
1880. If you then can go to a library or somewhere the the 1910 census is
available and find your Richard it will give his parents name and then you can refer
to the 1880 census and have both his parents and grandparents name. One
other method I have employed is to get a de

The Teapot Parade has been changed from May to the last (or 4th, not sure
which) Saturday in April. The PHS Alumni Day is always the second Saturday
in June. Hope this helps.

Would anyone living in Trenton TN, know when the annual teapot parade is

We might be planning a trip to Trenton and my mother would like to time it
around this occasion. She thought it was always sometime in June but not sure.
Also that the school (Peabody High School) has their reunion at about the
same time. I am coming to do research on our family.
