Elsie,
Thanks so much for responding and sending this info to me. I do appreciate it. I'm not sure at the moment if these Kings fit in.
I find it ironic that John and Molly Smithe King named a son Curry King, as the Luke King I am researching married Sarah Curry. I wonder if there could be a connection some
I am researching these names in Perry county...Henry Cunningham was born in
1907, but I have no other dates for anyone...He married Delia Henson...They
were the parents of Charles Clayton Cunningham....Clyde Wheat married Betty
McCaig...They were the parents of Mabel Cleo Wheat....Any info would be
appreciated...

Hello Valerie!
Thanks for the reply! There was a Frances Gibbs in Frnaklin TN who I have
been told did a LOT of research on the ANderson line. I'll have to dig out
where she connects--I think she is a descendant of JAMES ANDERSON, father of
the ROBERT D. I search for, although I'm not sure she comes through the Rob't
D. Line.
I'll look forward to your data. We leave on a brief vacation this PM and
will back over the weekend--so, I'll get back to you then.
Thanks again!
Nancy
Dear Lee;
Hmm-- So your ancestor and mine were competitors, I see! :-)
Thanks for the tip on Hickman Co. Someone else just yesterday suggested that
so I'll go to their GenWeb site.
Thanks again!

Thank you. Do you have any "proof" that William Green Mays was married to
Harriet Esther Dickson? Or that William Green Mays was the son of Abraham? I
don't have my file open tonight, but I don't think I have any "proof."
Thanks again,
Dana

I have a few Anderson's, but didn't see the ones you mentioned. I got a lot
of my information from "The Perry County Quarterly", September 1998, an
article by Royleta Malone. I am descended from Mary "Polly" Anderson (b
1779) who married Thomas Whitwell. And separately from a Margaret Anderson
(b abt 1801) who married Pleasant Whitwell. Pleasant's father was Thomas
(mentioned above). Thomas' father was another Thomas.

I am descended from William Mays and Charlotte ? who were living in
Perry Co.Tn. in the 1830's. Then they were in Decatur Co. in the
1840's. In the 1860's they were living in Madison Co. at Spring Creek.
That is where Charlotte was buried in 1877. William later went to
Gibson Co.Tn. where his son Robert lived. Wm. finally died 1886 and was
buried in Hopehill Cemetery in Gibson Co. A Jesse Mays born in 1823 was
the first child listed in the family. Then the next child 6 years
later. I'm wondering if W

I have received a little more info on Temperance HORNER b June,1816. On
Dunklin CO., MO census it states Temperance's Father was born in TN and her
mother was born in GA. I'm hoping some HORNER researcher know what family
this Temperance belongs to.
Thank you,

are absolutely correct. Is anyone out there?
