To Joe Stout. Do we have any records of veterans of the Spanish-American War? My hat is off to Joe Stout. He should be the Weakley County historian. He is knowledgeable, bright, and has a keen intellect. Another thought. If you have Union Veteran ancestors, they must be direct descendants who fought in the War of Northern Aggression. I found a great solution to cleaning tombstones. Tilex, mold and mildew remover. Spray it on thoroughly before it rains, and the rain will take away the majority of the moss on the tombstones. Dear Friends, Just a note on how to easily clean most tombstones. Tilex. Yes, Tilex Mold and Mildew remover works wonders. My Dad and I cleaned off my great grandfather's tombstones using this method. I suggest you give it a try. It works on most. Sincerely, Bobby Lee
