I am looking for info on a Lynch Turner who was born in VA around 1792 and
moved eventually to MO. I do not have much on him, I believe his daughter
may have married a William Woods in Howard county, MO.
Thanks.

A late good evening
As you have likely heard before, I am looking for William TURNER born about
1880. He is in the 1901, 1891 and 1881 census with parents William and Mary
but his last name is BRANCH in 1881. The only male BRANCH born in the area
in 1879/1880 was in March Q 1880 Gateshead and his name was John Felix
Branch, mother Sarah registered by a Mary Ann with no father listed. All
censuses have him born at Felling.
If has been suggested by some John Alex BRANCH was adopted, taken in or
whatever
Hello All
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. There is a lot of work underway
through DNA testing to prove origins of family lines and prove correct
ancestry. The origin of the Turner line is very complex and confusing.
We are all working off of much speculation and guessing. Those male
descendants who retain surname of Turner could help clarify the many
Turner line origins and correct ancestry identification by participating
in these test. I have done the test and it is very simple. If you have
any

Hi
Does anyone have any information on or are related to Turner's??
More specifically Benjamin Turner , he lived in Fewston, York; places also
mentioned are Slead Skye and Brighouse - I don't know where these are,
before coming to Australia around 1849. I think he possibly came on
"INDIAN" as one of his children has this as a middle name.
Thanks for your help

I am seeking information on William and Rebecca Turner of Cook County,
Illinois (Chicago). They are listed as the owners of land in Coles County,
Illinois in the mid 1850's. There is a William Turner living in Chicago in
the 1850 census. I do not know for sure if this is him as the wife's name
is listed as Mrs. If this is them, they list their place of birth as
England and his trade as carpenter.
Any help will be appreciated.

I am seeking inforamtion on William Turner. William patented 320 acres of
land in township 16 of Coles/Douglas County in 1865. I realize this may be
a common name but I am taking a longshot.
My purpose for this inquiry is because I am writing an article for our
upcoming centennial and I am concentrating on the original pioneers of this
area. This is all I have on this individual.
I would love to hear from anyone with knowledge of this line. Thanks for
your attention to this message.

I am looking for a James Turner who is listed as being in Jefferson county,
TN around 1800. He is listed as living near Thornton and Nave families.
The reason being is that the Thornton's of Hanover, VA have a William in
their line and his father is John. This John Thornton has a son in law James
Turner who then moves to TN. SO, this is the reason I am interested in this
James Turner in Jefferson county, TN. He is apparently there from about
1802 to 1809.
A James Turner, probably the same one also sign
