The following are from pages 486 and 487 of "Index of Maryland Colonial
Wills, Annapolis, Maryland 1634-1777," compiled and edited by James M.
Magruder, Jr. 2d edition, Volume III, c. 1933. All surnames are Turner.
The date given is usually that of probate. The numbers are the references to
the original records, Liber (book), then folio (page). I do not own this
book; just consulted it at the library today.

For an old gal who has lived to see WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam, with family in each one, believe me, the USA WILL prevail!
For the younger generation out there, you have NO idea how united we can get. This country WILL pull together as they did in WWII like you've never seen before. Rest assured.
Let's show our colors and FLY OUR FLAGS! If you don't have one, get one. Stay calm and ride it out.
For those of you who are able to, go to the RED CROSS nearest you and DONATE BLOOD NOW!

The following were found on pages 182 and 183 in "Maryland Marriages,
1634-1777," compiled by Robert Barnes. Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing
Co., Inc., c. 1975. Where more than one date is given, this indicates that
two records of the marriage give different dates. I do not own a copy of
this book; looked at it at the library.

I am looking for information on the ancestors of William Turner. The information I have indicates that William was born 1793 in Virginia. He married Susanah (Susan) Black on November 4, 1818 in Pittsylvania, Virginia. She is the daughter of Thomas Black and Susannah Richardson.
William died between Sept. and November of 1835. According to family lore cause of death was from fighting a forest fire at a camp meeting ground near Shiloh, Georgia.
Susanah was born in 1794 in Virginia. She died August 7,

Hi,
I am trying to identify 4 "Turners" that I found in the Chancery Records

Thanks for any information you might share.
