I may have John's will.. at least I think I do...
I figured out that Mary E. Glasscock and James Tutt are from Rolls, MO.
There is a good deal to sort through.
I also have Clement Lewis' final settlement information... I think you must
have this already.
The good thing is this: we can get a wills and administrations book for
Culpeper Co., VA and figure it out.
There is a TUTT collection via Special Collections at the University of
North Carolina Chapel Hill.. and I wonder if John Tutt would be in

Where I am headed is simply that this transcribed will seems to attribute two
sons to James Tutt and Ann Minor who have previously not been attributed to
them.
Do you think that that Richard I. Tutt could be Richard J. Tutt? Could be the

I have a copy of a 1922 letter concerning Tutt genealogy. The letter gives
the following info, reportedly from an Edgefield, SC, deed, but cites no deed
book and page.
"Richard Tutt Jr. to Barkley Martin, 13 Jan 1802, Wife Elizabeth signed her

uncle to Richard Tutt Jr. Richard Sr's wife was Elizabeth Per

married a Richard B. Tutt . Her name was Florence Bell Acord and I know they were
living in Colorado Co. Texas in 1900. Will get with you later.

My ancestors were slaves in the TUTT family -- so I have an interest in all
of the lines.

But I've been watching NUMEROUS land/deed transactions between the Tutts and
their allied families and it is crazy.
Now I am going to go back and compare all my wills and the ch
Highland Co., OH, records include an authenticated transcript of the will of
a James Tutt of Culpeper Co., VA. This will was brought to my attention
several months ago by another Tutt researcher, Tutt Lambert. At my request, he
recently obtained and sent me a photocopy of it. Because the will raises some
questions, I thought I'd post the text of it here to draw comments. These folks
are not in my direct line, but I am interested in any Tutts.
According to the transcribed information, this will was
