State Representative Harvey Hilderbran has introduced the following bills HB1011 deals with abandoned cemeteries on private property and the changes will allow the property owner to petition a District Court to remove the cemetery dedication on the land and will then require the removal of all human remains. Thank you Vanessa. I did look there before & did not find him. I did see that all the soldiers from Missouri on that list were Union. But there were confederates from Mo that fought, but probably not under the Mo. flag? So confusing. Susan

Thank you for your generous offer Ann. I don't know if this soldier was Union or Confederate? I found him on the 1890 Veterans schedule for Erath, Texas. William E. Carr 25 Aug 1862 to Jun 1865 Company 2, Reg. 24 then this was illegible, but I think it said MO? The 1860 census has him living in Capville, Flat Creek, Barry, Missouri.
