We went last Wednesday and found the cemetery and the tombstones we were looking for. The ladies at the library were WONDERFUL! It is the main cemetery in Pittsburg. It is at HWY 271 which runs NS, and HWY 11, which runs east-west. Everyone knows the cemetery. If you go to the library Monday thru Friday. 9-3 there is a cemetery book, so you can get a feel of where people are buried. Peggy Sutherlin Camp Co Sponsor

There is no phone number. If you go to City Hall, the person in charge of the cemetery might be able to help. Best bet is to go to the library.

Billie, Some of my relatives are buried at Spring Hill Cemetery. I have Pilgrims, Pooles, Stanleys, ect. It is a little hard to find if you don't know the area. You take Hwy 11 from Pittsburg toward Daingerfield. There used to be a sign on the Hwy 11 to the road to the cemetery. I am not sure it is still there. There is a small church beside the fenced cemetery. It is a small cemetery and it is kept up by some group through the church, I believe. I know my mother used to give them money to help
