Seeking information on the Alexander Weber family. He is listed on the 1930 Clay Co. census and on his death certificate as having been born in Russia. He was born 15 July 1884 and died in Dallas Co., TX 11 Sept. 1951. I would also be interested in information on any connection to the Friesz (Freeze or Freisz) family.
Thanks.

I haven't focused on Clay Co for awhile, but I would appreciate staying connected to any traffic that does happen. My families are Simons, Holden, Farmer, and Turner, and I suppose some others they married along the way.

One thing Clay has never had is transcriptions of wills.
Can we get some will submissions?
I don't have any as my grgrandfather died without one, as did his
father. (doesn't anyone ever learn?)
Let's see how many wills we can come up with this week. I'll post them
right away.
And if you can't send a will, send a deed!!!! I'll start pages for both.
Thanks, Vicki
Hi Vicki,
Please keep my name on the list. I haven't done any research in Clay County in a very long time. I am? however, still interested in finding any information on my EDWARDS/BOOKOUT line.
My Great Aunt Mary F. Bookout (age 15) ?lived in?Archer County with her father and stepmother, but married Henry W. Edwards in Clay County Jan 1884.
I have not?found anything else on them. It's like they just disappeared after they were married.?
Any help regarding this family would be appreciated.

Hi Vicki,
Well if it's a case of being bashful, go ahead and mark me off that list. However, I would kindly ask that you please keep me on this one. I would suspect that many of the "listers" seldom check their email accounts.
Firstly, let me thank you for taking charge and care of this list. Thank you also for everything that you have done and strive yet to do on behalf of the generations of Texans who have called Clay County home.
I live on the 1919 Clark homeplace west of Joy, which is
