I am posting this to all - assuming this is general information of value to
many:
1)There are death records since 1903 of anyone with a death certificate in
Collin county.
2)There are several reels of microfilm (one location is at the Harrington
Library in Plano) which index the deaths in the state of Texas and include
date, county and certificate number.
3) Minnie Pitts has a 2 volume book information to follow which lists the
cemeteries and any headstones found in 1972 when the book was done,

My husbands father fought in War World
II . Were you the one who said you had books with the people from
Collin Co. who served in the war? If so
could you look and see if my father-in-law is in the book. I can give
you most of the information you ask for .
I have been reading the Collin Co. mailing list for a couple of months
and everyone on it was always helpful
so I decided to give it a try. Thanks again for the response to my
query
