1. Re: [TXEASTLA] Wash family [1]
I consulted my Eastland County cemetery books, which were compiled from surveys conducted in the mid 1970s. There are no listings for the last name of Wash. Do you know for certain that they lived in Eastland County? Were they in Eastland County on the 1920 census? If so, where? Do you have any dates, or names of children? I'll try to help if you can provide a little more info. You said: "I hyperventilate at the site of an old cemetery" You too??! Good luck in your research! Brit Ferguson Stephenville,

13. Re: [TXEASTLA] Wash family [1]
I would like to remind all of you that even transcription records 'may' be incomplete or lacking. Consulting the current cemetery books at the Eastland Centennial Library, you will not find my father listed in the Colony Cemetery. Neither will you find his obit in the records. His name is not listed in the cemetery listing, either. Evident
