My Great Grandfathr James Riley Jolliff and his bro. Richard were in Denison in 1876, but I cannot find much about their sister Rhoda, who married twice, died young and left children.

Hi All,
I'm trying to prove, or disprove, some family traditions in my Reed and Bullard and Patton families about attending school with Gene Autry (the Singing Cowboy). I understand that Gene Autry was born at Tioga, in Grayson County, in September of 1907. I also understand that his family moved to Ravia, Oklahoma, when Gene Autry was 15. Does anyone on the list know anything about whether Gene Autry's family continued to lived in the Tioga area from his birth in 1907 until the family moved to Ravia ar

Hi Amy -
I don't know if there was more than one Richardson family in Grayson
Co. in the 1880s or not, but I have wondered why my Richardsons left a
successful ranching life in CA and moved to Grayson. The earliest
Richardson I have is gr-gr-grandfather Henry, born 1817 in OH. My
gr-grandmother was born in 1844 in MO. They came to CA in 1848, and
stayed there until Henry, his wife and several of their grown childrn
moved to TX in 1878. Henry died there in 1880. His children were:

You can send the corrections and what ever else and I can add an addendum to
the files, that is why you see the 'addition' on the archives list next to
some cemeteries. If anyone is sure someone is in a cemetery I can make an
addition so it will show up.
I CAN add them to list that I have made. But Mike Cross's are his copyrighted
work so I cannot change his just add an additional file next to it. The names
will be caught in the archives search engine though.
