To save time, of responding privately to each email I've rcvd: What I'm looking for is a man named Henderson who shot & killed Alhamon Gholson in Santa Fe, NM, and stole $600.00 in gold from him. Henderson then "fled to Illinois." Alhamon was 18 yrs old when he was murdered by Henderson, and was the son of Samuel Gholson who lived in Harrison Co.1840's. Jimmie - I have no clue where she was born, and the only link I have is to the James Slaton who signed the marriage bond in 1801. Samuel Gholson had to of met her before his father Anthony moved to Wayne Co. in 1800...the entire family in Botetourt Co., VA, packed up and moved to Wayne.
