Looking for data on Tom. He was the night round house foreman at Valentine TX from 1919 to 1926. He married Jesse Odessa George in Alpine, TX in 1919. His obit said that he had two sisters and two brothers. Would like to find their descendants. Also, any information on this round house.

I am looking for descendants of the Everett family that is buried in Valentine, TX. We are writing a history of the Everett family beginning with the Colonial progenitor--George Everett. We have a continuous line from George to the present with pictures and documentation, but lack some of the present-day branches of which this is one.
My grandmother, Mabel George Rogers, used to visit with her cousin Noel Everett back in the 1920's-1930's at Valentine. Her sister Jessie George Richardson lived there bec
Hello,
I am proud to announce the creation of a new mail list called TX-Cemeteries.
This list has the encouragement of Gerron S. Hite, Cemetery Preservation
Coordinator in the History Programs Division of the Texas Historical
Commission
and he's excited at the opportunity to share his feelings about our cemetery
preservation to a large group all at once
Others that have been notified, Lee Campbell, Past Representative for the

I am looking for information on two brothers who had a ranch in Jeff Davis
County.
They are:
Richard F. Ponder, born 1876, KY and Daniel C. Ponder, born 1882, KY.
They migrated with their parents to Washington State, probably in the late
1880's or early 1990's and are then said to have emigrated to Texas. I have
been unable to find them in the 1910 and 1920 soundex index for Texas but
have had contact by several people who remember the Ponder Ranch.
Can anyone help with what happened to these two men.
As of today, I have put up the following census records for Jeff Davis
County. They say Presidio county, as that is the county Jeff Davis was
part of for the years posted so far.
1860, 1870 and 1880.

I have been told that the Mayfield Hills in Jeff Davis county, contained on the USGS 7.5' map of the same name, is named after my great grandfather, Henry (old Moss) Mayfield. How could I obtain more information on this and Mayfield's in or from Jeff Davis county?
Thanks,
Bill Mayfield
