7. [TSL] FANNY Liverpool UK>NYC 1836 [1]
Have recently obtained part of a passenger list from my cousin showing John Moorhouse, age 30 and John Boddy, age 9 sailing from Liverpool on the FANNY and arriving at NYC on 10 (I think the 10th?) June 1836. Can anyone help with additional details, such as where to obtain a photograph of the ship, who the captain was, etc. I believe that these two passengers did NOT travel by steerage. How can I find out more about that? In fact, John Boddy was, in actuality, aged 12. Was the fare cheaper for those

24. [TSL] Passengers URBAN ca 1890 , Germany > New York? [0.976484]
Hello.....At the risk of asking for the impossible can anyone *find* two female passengers who traveled / returned together to the USA (possibly NY) in 1890 from Germany. The pair were mother and daughter, Elizabeth and Magdalena (Lena) URBAN, who resided in Cleveland, Ohio during this period. This is the only information that I have and I realize it's scant at best. I inquired of NARA as to a passport to no avail. Thank you for your help with this. Regards, Bette ( bmcintosh@new.rr.com )
25. Re: [TSL] Port of Arrival from Scotland Abt. 1900 [0.976484]
It could be virtually anywhere on the east coast of North America, depending on the ship and its owner. The list has a link to a map showing the major ports of arrival in N America. I am sorry but I do not have its URL handy. You have your choice of those plus some additional minor ports.
