1st May 2001, a dedicated telephone number will be introduced to replace the

Hello everyone and a warm welcome to our 150th
edition, still cant quite believe I have done this
many, and we are still going strong!
However my apologies for the long gap. The Rootsweb
admin server was out of action for a week meaning I
could not do some of the work needed to make sure we
are not spamming people who no longer want the
newsletter and then last week I came down with a
terrible cold, so I have been out of action! Anyway,

I have decided, after running the newsletter for five years, that I won't continue to run the newsletter next year.
It has been a hard decision to come to, but with an increasing load in my working life i am simply unable any longer to devote the time to it that it needs to keep it going properly. In recent times the amount of news coming to me from Family HIstory Societies and other means has dwindled, meaning that i have had to spend more time than ever putting the news together, and hence
