1. [UK-NE] Pat Wardell [1]
Hi Pat, I did try writing to you privately but had my mail returned. Did you write to me at all in England about your WAITE family? I seem to remember a letter about a Waite/Miles family that had been in the carpet industry and I was wondering if it was you. If it wasn't, then I may still have the letter at home but can't be sure on this. I could ask my daughter to take a quick look and see if it is still there. Regards Pauline
2. [UK-NE] Re: UK-NORTHEAST-D Digest V00 #119 [1]
Hello. My ancestry includes a Jarves (Jervis) STOCKDELL (STOGDELLE) who was a Quaker. He married Mary Allen. I have no dates for them but I do have dates for their daughter, Hannah. She was born in Evesham, Burlington County, NJ - USA after her parents emigrated to America. Hannah was born in 1718 and died in 1790. She married John STOKES on November 5, 1740. Do these names look familiar to anybody? I do not know where they emigrated from....Thank you from Becky at rweifords@aol.com

Hello, Does anyone have any knowledge of children being christened again?? I have come across a number of examples of (what I think) is the same child being christened again, either later that year, or again a few years later. 21. [UK-NE] HELP Common Name [1]
Hello all, I'm hoping some of you may have some suggestions to help me dig myself through a bit of a wall. I have tracked my COULSON line back to the 1840's, mostly in the Hexham and Newcastle areas. They have been difficult from the start. My current block is with John COULSON, born between 1845 and 1848. My problem is, there were two John COULSONs born in Hexham in this period. My sources are as follows: 1866 Marriage cert. - age full -therefore 1845/6 - father Baty COULSON 1882 Marriage cert.
