Searching for my grandfather BERNARD GUSBERG who arrived in the U.S. about 1890 and settled in Newark, N.J. His wife and 4 kids followed later in 1895, I have them but can't find him.

Looking for information on my ggrandfather James Y. Thompson who emigrated to
the U.S. from Scotland in 1850 at 3 years of age. He sailed with his parents
James B. Thompson and Ann (last name unknown) and sisters Ann, born 1841 and
Euphemia, born 1842, brother David, born 1844 and brother John, born 1849.
They settled in Middletown, Delaware County, New York. Am looking for name of
ship on which they traveled and any other available information.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I just came across a passenger list on ancestry.com for the ship called
Wisconsin which arrived in New York, NY on May 20, 1851 from London, England
that contains the name of my ancestor.
How do I find out more information about that ship (like a picture or
anything else)? I've tried doing a google search for ship and Wisconsin,
I've also tried going through shipslist.com (they have a Wisconsin, but it
was commissioned and first sailed in 1870).
Any help would be appreciated as I'm new to searching ships
