8. [USSLP1820] Ship: Wisconsin May 20, 1851 [1]
I just came across a passenger list on ancestry.com for the ship called Wisconsin which arrived in New York, NY on May 20, 1851 from London, England that contains the name of my ancestor. How do I find out more information about that ship (like a picture or anything else)? I've tried doing a google search for ship and Wisconsin, I've also tried going through shipslist.com (they have a Wisconsin, but it was commissioned and first sailed in 1870). Any help would be appreciated as I'm new to searching ships
