Please find for me information on ANNA GERTRAUD DIEHL.
Anna married her husband Christian Auchenbach in December 1848 when she was
about 6 months pregnant; the thing is he only arrived at the Port of NY on 6
Nov 1848 aboard the Juanita out of Antwerp. He lived in Niederasphe, Germany.
So, she either had to travel with him, or without him, in 1848. Please find
her .

I received the following from another mailing list. I thought it might
be of interest to this list.

Hi, all,
Please take a moment of your time to sign the petition to save the
National
Archives and Records.
http://www.savearchives.org/
I went to the site found good information and signed. I NEED access to
NARA
and am against anything that will endanger our ability to access its
files!
Am I in the right place? I am trying to find out whether Catherine Hiern was a passenger on the Virginia(n) 28/2/1846. Hope SKS can help. Olga Hiern-Cooke
