I am interested in finding out info about the ship Albany that ran between
Havre and NY in 1837. I have found my ancestors on the ship's list, but would
like to know more about the vessel itself. I think there may have been an
earlier ship of that name, but I want the 1837 one. Thanks!
Can anyone help with with info about a ship called the Albany that sailed
between Havre and NY in Oct. 1837? I found family members on the list for that
voyage. It is not about them, but rather the ship that I would like to learn
more of. I get the impression that there was a ship of this name a hundred
years before, but this is the one that interests me. Thanks for any help.
Everyone was so kind in helping me find the Lindeman immigration info, I
can't help but push my luck and impose again. I have two more family groups I am
desparately trying to find. Would so appreciate the help.
1. Stephen O'Donnell, b 1834, Ireland
Mary (wife) b abt. 1831, England or Ireland
Mary (dau), b. 1859 in England
The next child was born in Toronto, Canada in 1862.

I'm looking for info on arrivals in Philadelphia as well as info regarding the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse. This may help me initiate a NARA search.
Can anyone point me towards:
- A list of ship arrivals from any port in Europe in Philadelphia from 1898-1903
- Did the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse port in Philadelphia from 1889-1903
- Did the Kaiser Wilhelp der Grosse sail from Antwerp direct to the US at any time?
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I am looking for ship/passenger list information on Nathaniel Hunt with wife Hannah and their children - among whom might be Fred and Elizabeth. Fred was born in approx. 1861.
The US census records say they arrived in the USA in 1890 and came from England. In 1910 they had settled in Philadelphia, PA.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Has anyone heard of a ship by the name of HELMURTH (HEMUTH)- TIMOUIS
(SIMONIS) which would have sailed from Bremen to America in 1867?
Ancestry.com has it listed as Helmurth-Timouis, but a naval museum
cannot find it. Germans to America lists it as HELMUTH-SIMONIS, but
doing a google search,
I'm looking for an Ane Katrine Sxrensen and her uncle, Sxren Sxrensen, who
came to America from Denmark in 1891. She lived in Schleswig-Holstein. Any
help would be appreciated greatly!
Thanks.

I seek immigration info for the family below. They are listed on the census
as having come from Mecklenburg. They were in Germany when the second daughter
was born in January, 1859 but were in Cleveland by Oct 31, 1860 when the
next child was born. I would like to know what ship/date they immigrated, and a
possible home town for them.
Carl/Charles Lindeman(n) b. about 1831
Fredericke (wife) b 1828
Fredericke (dau) b 1856
Caroline/Lena (dau) b 1859
I'm trying to find a Soren and Eline Andreasen who sailed from Denmark
to the US in either 1882 or 1888 according to census records. Also seen
as Andersen and Andresen according to a family picture it appears they
made this trip one other time in the early 1890's (1891-1895). He may
have been with a group of Olsens, Christian & Margrita ? not sure on the
spelling since it appears they came over the same year. Any help is
appreciated.
Thanks,
Melissa

Ancestry.com has it listed as Helmurth-Timouis, but a naval museum cannot find it. Germans to America lists it as HELMUTH-SIMONIS, but doing a google search, I cannot find that. According to Ancestry.com my great-grandfather and family came on that ship. Any information would make me very happy. Thanks.
