The 'William Stetson' landed in NY from Liverpool on 28 May 1855. Its
passenger list shows "William Stetson Grogan" age 3 weeks and "Mary
Shields" age 5 days. I know these are actually my ancestors, William
McGrogan b. 2 May 1855 and first cousin, Anne Jane Shields b. 19 May
1855. Are there any other types of sources that I could check to verify
these births and how could I find out if this ship stopped at
Newfoundland before landing in NY. Any help greatly appreciated.
