My ancestor arrived on 4 August 1854 in New York, having left LeHavre. He was onboard the "Regulator". I wonder if there is a reference where I might find a sketch of the ship? I appreciate the name of any sources... thank you!

I am searching for ships' lists which would have come into Boston c1644. I have tried the usual Ships' Lists and although I gave up quickly because of the maze of "over" information, I did not see any site that would help me. Can anyone help me?
