The USGenWeb election process has started up -- on 01 June Nominations for elective offices can be made by any of you who wish to do so, (you can even nominate yourself). However, you can ony vote on the nominees if you are a volunteer in that region. Regional Divisions can be found here: http://www.usgenweb.org/about/regions.html Deadline for submitting nominations is June 14, 8 am EST The actual election begins July 1. I do place records in the Archives because I realize how important it is to have them there. Another thought, with the prevalence of GPS units now days perhaps coordinates should be gathered when possible, at least a gps can get you within 10-50 feet of the target point. Part one when a photo is submitted, you get an email. You go to the photo submissions page and click on admin, enter your password, then the submitted photo pops up in a table. Yes, the program doesn't work with Rootsweb, so resides on a server which you access by a link. Part two, I'll let the program writer explain the rest.
