The Election Study Committee has completed its report and respectfully
submits to the USGenWeb Project's Advisory Board and to the USGenWeb
Project as a whole. It is available at:

The committee has decided to share the voting *barometer* on the report
preparation. As you can imagine keeping track of approval of the many
sections was a bit mind-boggling. We used the graphic at:

It has now been six (6) months since Linda filed for The USGENWEB ARCHIVES
word mark.
We, the project members and AB, have known about it for four (4) months.
To date there has been sufficient pledges voluntarily submitted to Joe to:
(1) officially protest Linda's action to the USPTO in her using USGenWeb in
her word mark application.
(2) engage professional assistance to determine the best method of
countering that action to assure that The USGenWeb Project will have the
exclusive right to the name USGe

Haven't read it in detail yet, of course, and may not agree with every
single item (would be a miracle if I didn't find something to quibble with,

Hello Everyone ! I have had to reword and rework the guidelines for the
CENSUS-LOOKUP mailing lists and also include subscription instructions. I am
