7. Re: [UT-CENSUS-LOOKUP] 1860-1880 Census Salt Lake [1]
Marcena, That really helps knowing where she died. I tracked her from 1880, 1900, 1910--previous post. No Alice in UT, 1910, but son, Charles Canfield and a John Canfield next to Charles in 1910. Then 1910, 1920, and 1930 in NV--no husband John. You might want to subscribe to the VA Census Lookup for your surname Hatch. Also, the NV census information should be posted to the NV Census Lookup list as it might be helpful to people searching the Canfield Surname in NV. Sharon ---------- 1910-NV-Elko Co-M

10. Re: [UT-CENSUS-LOOKUP] 1860-1880 Census Salt Lake [1]
Hi Marcena, You can search the 1880 census at: www.familysearch.org. On the left-hand side is the 1880 US cenus. Click on that and you will be taken to a search screen with different boxes to fill in. I typed in Alice Canfield and Utah census. She came up as John Canfield's wife. Click over on the right and side where it says "Household Record" and click. There you will see their family and, I guess, 19 other folks who worked on the railroad living with them. Also, I checked my 1860 and 1870 census
11. [UT-CENSUS-LOOKUP] Sorry [1]
Sharon Thank you very much, you found information I didn't have. Now to try and find them before 1880. This is the big rock wall. Guess I will try Kansas again, because that is where Burt was born 1873. So it said in the 1880 census. Marcena
