Well, the death cert. said she was born in 1854 or 1855, and in VA. The obit
said: for many of years she made her home with her family on a ranch near Old
Promitory Point.
Thats all I have, so I don't know if she was married at that time or not.

Dear List Members,
If you were effected by the Comcast buy out, then you need to read this,
if not delete it.
Just this evening, I have receive over 100 requests for me to change
e-mail address to a Comcast address. Many of these requests mention
multiple lists of which the sender needs their e-mail address
changed. It will take me a good week or so to get through them all.
My suggestion is;
If you still have the ability to unsubscribe go to PASSWORD Central at

Hi Marcena,
Would you be able to provide an approximate birth date and/or birth place?

Dear List Members,
It is that time of year when some of you will be leaving on Vacations.
You might want to consider unsubscribing from the list while you are
gone and then resubscribing when you return.
The easiest way to do this is by using Password Central.
http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ Follow the instructions and you
will receive a e-mail list of all Rootsweb Mailing Lists you belong to.
You can unsubscribe using this e-mail. Save it and you then have a list
of mailing lists you want to re-su
Marcena,
That really helps knowing where she died. I tracked her from 1880, 1900, 1910--previous post.
No Alice in UT, 1910, but son, Charles Canfield and a John Canfield next to Charles in 1910.
Then 1910, 1920, and 1930 in NV--no husband John. You might want to subscribe to the VA Census
Lookup for your surname Hatch. Also, the NV census information should be posted to the NV
Census Lookup list as it might be helpful to people searching the Canfield Surname in NV.

The 1930 index at ancestry. com isn't showing any results for Jessie/Jesse
DENNING in Weber Co. or anywhere in Utah.
Sorry,

Hi Marcena,
You can search the 1880 census at: www.familysearch.org. On the left-hand side is the 1880 US
cenus. Click on that and you will be taken to a search screen with different boxes to fill in.
I typed in Alice Canfield and Utah census. She came up as John Canfield's wife. Click over on
the right and side where it says "Household Record" and click. There you will see their family
and, I guess, 19 other folks who worked on the railroad living with them. Also, I checked my
1860 and 1870 census
Sharon
Thank you very much, you found information I didn't have. Now to try
and find them before 1880. This is the big rock wall. Guess I will try Kansas
again, because that is where Burt was born 1873. So it said in the 1880
census.
