I don't know if there is anyone else on this list or not. I am interested to find out if there is still a Randalett. I don't know if this was a county or a town. My grandfather George Granville Cooper was born in Roosevelt, Duchesne Co., in 1912, his mother, Mary Elizabeth Meranda and his father Granville Alexander Cooper were never married. I have never been able to find a birth certificate for him. Under either name (Meranda or Cooper). He lived with his mother till 1917 when he was 5 years of age.

In checking the index, I find that William Henry Long and his wife Luzernia A. Morrell are buried in the Duchene City Cemetery (Indian Canyon Road). He died 27 Nov 1936 and she died 11 Mar 1937. They are buried in Block 9, Lot 2, Grave 7 and Block 9, Lot 2, Grave 8 respectively.

Hello! My name is Sheila Gibson. I am a new subscriber. I joined a couple of weeks ago as I began putting together a biography on my dad. He was born in Myton in 1914, grew up in Duchesne and died in Orem in 2003. His name is Leonard Aaron Shelton, son of Stephen Morton Shelton & Fannie Adelia Wardle Shelton. Hello again. In my last post I mentioned I am writing my dad's biography. He grew up in Duchesne & had a really good Native American friend while growing up. If I ever heard his Indian name again I think I would recognize it. Most white folks called him "Boy Brock". He would be in his 80s if he is still living. He and my dad went to the Ute chief when they were kids and asked him to perform a ceremony making them blood brothers, which he did. Can anyone help me find out what happened to "Boy Brock?"
