My turkey day did go great because my son and I were invited out to eat,
LOL. On Friday, our drum (I sing backup for a tribal drum) sang at a
resort here in West Virginia.
Later that day, my son prepared a turkey (we have one of those
rotisseries - he's susch a good kid) and I fixed the trimmings.
It was a good day.
You are such a good person Jan and I have no doubt that you will find my
ggranddaddy and ggrandmom.

Hi everyone. My son went to National Guard duty today and said he heard
someone mention Utterbacks. So.....I looked in the telephone book (a
very limited resource where I live) but it does have four Utterbacks -
all related.
I called and spoke to and Mrs. Utterback. Her husband has passed away
but we had a long conversation and she did say the following:
First, she is 87 years old...
Her husband was George and he had three brothers: 1) Leo, 2) James and
3) Merlin
Their father was Oliver Perry Utterb

OFTEN we may wish for different ones and feel moved to deny the ones we

This Roll Call is Marriage's.
Rules for Roll Call are as follows:
1) In subject line put State where the marriages were from. If there are more
then one state list them please. There is a lot of people that see only one
State listed and will delete the email not thinking that they might connect.
2) If they are your Brickwall marriages you can post them to but please put
brickwall next to the names so that everyone will know this is your brickwall.
These are easy rules for the Roll Call. I hope ever

I have recently acquired 10 copies of Professor William I. Utterback's 1938
work, "The History & Genealogy of the Utterback Family in America,
1622-1938". These are new(not used) books, hardbound, and reprinted in the
past few years on archival paper by a descendant.
If any of our subscribers have an interest in acquiring a copy, please
contact me by private e-mail(off list), and I can provide more details.

=============================
Hi Bill - Thanks for the e-mail.
My mother was Russell Utterback, l896 - l995, daughter of William David and
America Belle Hahn Utterback, Anderson Co., Ky.
I have a partial photocopy of the book you mention. In the small section I
know about, there are a couple of major inaccuracies: the author lists my
mother as a boy, and shows that her father and his first wife, nee Susan
Mullins, were "without issue," though they had several children. Perhaps the
descendant you mention, who has the books,
Culpeper Co., VA
Winifred, d/o Tilman HUFFMAN (1735-c1828) and first wife, m. c1787 Jacob
UTTERBACK.
Can anyone give me details on Jacob?
Best regards,
