There is a Confederate section of Blandford Cemetery. There are 2 Rives buried there: George E. Rives, Company H, 13th Virginia Cavalry, CSA; b. 1842, d. 1931. Geeorge S. Rives, 1st Lieutenant, Company K, 13th Virginia Cavalry, CSA; b. 1832, d. 1887. I have Rives ancestors from Prince George and surrounding counties, but have not been able to tie my Rives to the above soldiers.
