Gloucester birth records indicate that John and Louisa Hogg were the parents of Ellenora Hogg in Aug 1889. Marriage records indicate that John Hogg married Louisa Hogg on Aug 16, 1888. In the Gloucester 1900 census, Ellenora Hogg was listed in the household of Levi Hogg as his niece. John and Louisa Hogg are not listed. Was Ellenora an orphan? Did she have other siblings? Did she marry Arthur Hunley? Can anyone help?

I have your family in my database, but I do not have them connected to John
and Louisa Hogg.
You mention that George Thomas Hogg is buried in Middlesex. I do not have
him listed in the Middlesex Cemetery Book.

Hi Bonnie,
Hope I'm not in trouble again. Sylvia Rowe criticizes me for posting info
without enough proof. Zack Loesch called me about the genealogy of Capt.
Upsher Rainier. He hoped to write a newspaper story based on family stories
about the sea captain that he had heard from his friend, Tommy Rainier. I
was interested because I always confused the names of the Rainier and Revere
families. I pieced it all from census and cemetery records with a few
marriage records in the clerk's office. I posted a
Received an inquiry about Capt. Upsher Rainier. Found his ancestor was Amos Rainier from Bucks Co., PA. The descendents of Amos that I found were as follows. Any corrections or additions?

Roane,
I wonder if these folks are connected in any way to:
Anderson Hogg who married Susan ?
Their son, G. Thomas Hogg, born 1869 in Gloucester, died 1942, buried
Middlesex County.
Married 1) Charlotte E (Betty) Smith, in 1889 in Gloucester - I don't know of
children; married 2) Sadie Vandergrift in 1904 in Middlesex, 7 children
Anderson and Susan Hogg had another son, William, who married Louisa Jenkins
in 1892, according to Sylvia Rowe.

Roane,
You're right!
However, in my notes for him, I show that both he and wife Sadie Vandergrift
Hogge are buried at Lower United Methodist Church at Hartfield. They lived on
Stamper's Bay Road at Hartfield so it stands to reason that would've been
their burial place.
Next time I'm in Middlesex, I
Morning Roane.........
May I ask who had all this info?? lol
I ask, because John Rainier and Annie Callis were my husband's
ggrandparents. Would like to get in touch with
"your" inquirer, possibly trade info.

Do you have any further information about Edward and Laura Foster - their
death dates, names of children, etc? Where they are buried?
Thanks.

I was not able to pull up the information you sent me. Could you please let
me know what I am doing wrong? That I am no computer whizz must be pretty
evident.
Thank you,
Dorothy Sazio

Also, Dorothy Bailey Sazio, I have sent you a full report on your
ancestors; sorry, list, it is 112 pages but if there are any interested
please let me know.

According to the marriage license for Amos Rainier and Louisa Foster Amos
was a widower born in Bucks, PA and the son of James and Drucilla Rainier.
I've never had any luck finding out information on James and Drucilla.
Amos' daughter Mariah Louisa Rainier who married John Edward 'Jack' Foster
11 Oct 1863 is my ancestor. According to Confederate Widow Pension Records
she was born in Atlantic, New Jersey. Moved to VA when she was eight years
old.
I have additional information on their descendants.
