Hi! This is my first query to this list. I've just began to try to find the parents of my 3rd great grandfather, Thomas WALKER. He was born March 10, 1787 in Virginia and married Saluda Bailey, October 21, 1811 in Amherst Co. I believe Thomas was also born in Amherst, but don't have any proof to back it up. This is for Kelly Biskey & Patsy Day-Ware You should both consult the Rucker Family Genealogy by Sudie Rucker Wood. She did a lot of work on both of these famalies. The Martin D. Parks mentioned by another subscriber was the grandson of Martin Dawson. Martin Parks mother was a daughter of Martin Dawson and the Dawson family is well represented in this book.
