You made my day !!

Hi James,
There aren't any Raileys in the 1816-1853 book. I did find the marriages
below in the 1771-1815 book, you may already have these, but here they are
anyway.
29 May 1807- John RAILEY & Elizabeth RAILEY, daughter of James Railey,
deceased. Martin Railey, guardian of Elizabeth consents for her and is
surety. Md. by Rev. Eleazar Clay, Baptist.
Hi Debbie,
this will all take a little time. What you see me write in postings to
others is only an actual tidbit of what i really do. Most of them have me
write back to them privately. By the way, I don't have the 1735-1810 Amelia
Co. marriages book here, just some pages that I copied from it, mostly my own
family from that area. But, I do have the other books and am already looking
up your requests as best I can. Beth
Tom,
I am interested in BAUGH,WASH,or SAUNDERS. I know all three left records in
Powhatan and there were some Baugh records in Goochland, but I don't think I
looked for Wash and Saunders; I haven't had much access to Goochland
resources in Washington DC.
I do have the record of the 1817 marriage of Archibald Bolling Baugh and
Caroline Wash, d/o Lipscomb. Two Hardaways were witnesses if I recall
correctly (Peter and Sarah). That pretty much sums up all I know for sure.
There are TWO LIPSCOMB Wash fello
Hi Tom,

Hi all,
I have enjoyed talking to all of you through e-mail, but right now, I am
leaving some of my lists, temporarily. You all can still feel free to write
me at MBond94365@aol.com, and don't forget my home pages, I change them from
time to time. I am going to unsubscribe in a little bit, just thought that I
would let you know. However, I will be staying on VARoots to send in the
newspaper items.
God Bless you all!

Hi all!
I don't know what's wrong with my link not working right, thanks to Carole I
know it isn't. I will try to correct the problem when I find out what it is.
Beth
Hello,
I'm relatively new to the Virginia email lists. I've signed up to
several lists, as are many of you
I'm sure. That being the case, I apologize in advance to those of you
who will be getting duplicates.
We have concentrated our search primarily in Patrick and Giles
Counties because our earliest known ancestor, John (Jr.) was married in
Patrick and lived there after marriage. Many of the subsequent
generations lived in Giles County. Considering the many boundary changes
that have occurred over t

I'm sorry to see that Beth no longer has CHESTERFIELD COUNTY MARRIAGES

Hi Martin,
I don't see a Bessie specifically, but there are Rudd grooms in here. I
will give you the following two marriages with girls named Bethany & Elizabeth
for they are the closest.Remember, this book only goes up to 1853. With the
exception of one great-grandfather born in 1867, my great-grandparents weren'

Hi everybody!
I have, as some of you probably do as well, copies of pages from old
newspapers that have ancestors of mine in obituaries, marriages, etc. But,
also on these pages are other families marriages, etc. as well and I thought
that I would share some of these with, for in some instances, as we all know,
some of these items are not recorded in the regular records and even when
they are, the newspapers can give us other information. A few of the early
ones are in a book, but most of these are
