Looking for information on a Gabriel Sullivan, born ca. 1760. Name appears in the 1790 Fauquier County Virginia Land Tax Records, 1783, 1787, and 1789 Stafford County Virginia Land Tax Records. Believe that he is the father of James H. Sullivan, Sr., b. 1780-1790 in Stafford County, VA, and died in 1840, Stafford Cty., VA. Any information on Gabriel's wife? Donald, Contact me. I think I may have information about your William Thompson who married Annis Walker in Pendleton County, West Virginia. William is a desendent of George Thompson, Sr. who lived and died in Culpepper County, Virginia during the years of about 1675 to 1727.

HI All, Well, thanks to a fellow researcher, I can now rule out that my Dorothea "Dolly" Foster came from Culpeper Co., VA and married in Fauquier Co., VA. There was only 1 Foster in Culpeper Co., VA whose name was William Foster. I knew he had a child William but did not know the names of his other children, which I knew he had several. According to my researcher friend, the other children were Elizabeth, Robert, Nancy, Polly, James, Francis, Rebekah, Lucy, Sarah and John K.

Hi, I am looking for information on James Butler who was Married to Drucilla Kabler around 1785-1790. Their son Sidnor or Zidner was my ancestor who later moved to Cumberland Co., Kentucky. I am looking to hire a professional geneologist with Culpeper County experience. My g g g grandfather William Warner Pritchett (1801-1883) lived in Spotsylvania Co. (As did his son, Benjamin Warner Pritchett) I have been unable to trace his ancestors. I had heard a family rumor that they came from Culpeper County. I recently noticed in a search of the Culpeper Co 1810 Census that there is a family of Benjamin Pritchett and William Pritchett. Each family had at least one son about 9 years of age that

The Gabriel I have is Randolphs brother born about 1788. Randolph was born in 1791. However we do not know who their father was. One says Michael from Ireland, another says William and one cousin says Gabriel was the fathers name. Gabriel, Randolphs brother married Judith True in 1812 in MaSON cO kY. Looking for information on Newman Landman or his son William Landman. William was born in Culpeper Co VA on May 9, 1792, he died in Vinton County Ohio on July 1, 1887. He moved to Ohio in the mid 1830's. Newman was in the Revolution. I found a census record for a Newman Landinon in Culpeper County for 1810. I think that this is Newman Landman. Dawn Hedrick

Isabella Downing (?-1847) m Robert Linn in 1806 via an Augusta Co, VA, marriage bond which was signed by "Margery Downing", presumed to be her mother. This suggests that her father was deceased, but his name is not known at present. Could this Isabella be connected with the Isabella Downing mentioned in the Edwards query?
