Possible Children of Armstead WILSON and Sarah SMITHER are:

Is anyone researching the JENNINGS family of Frederick County? My gr.
gr. grandfather, Lewis JENNINGS, was born there (06-25-1800). He had a
brother by the name of James close in age. I am interested in any
information you may have about any Jennings families in the era 1750 -
1800 who might have lived in the area. Thanks so much for any help you
can give me. Dixie (Jennings) Greenwood
Beverly ROBINSON was born 15-Sep-1800. Various records show him born in
Amherst, Campbell, Frederick or King William Counties, VA. He married Sarah
Elizabeth TAYLOR on 11-Jul-1820 in Green Co., KY, and they moved to Newton
Co., MO, in 1838. According to some histories, they may have lived in Morgan
Co. IL, prior to moving to Missouri.
At first I had his father as John Robinson, b. ca 1738-1739 in St. George,
Spotsylvania Co., VA, but now believe it more likely that he was Col. Beverly
Robinson, b.
My gr. gr. grandfather LEWIS JENNINGS was born in Frederick County, VA
on 06-25-1800. Both of his parents were born in VA. He was close in
age to a brother James, also born in Frederick County, VA. Lewis'
parents left VA and had settled in OH (probably circa 1810). This is
all the information I have about LEWIS JENNINGS and his family. Can
someone give me a "jump start" to my research of the Jennings family in
Frederick County, VA? Thank you, Dixie (Jennings) Greenwood

My previous message regarding LEWIS JENNINGS, after re-reading it now,
is a bit misleading. The info I sent was the only information I had
about the family's connection to Frederick County, VA. I do have
information on him back to 1821 when
he married in OH and up to his death in IL in 1884. Thanks for letting
me clearify this. Just need help in getting started in VA to find his
parents, etc. Dixie (Jennings) Greenwood

Is anyone on this list researching the LITTLER family in the 1700's and
early 1800's, Frederick Co, VA to Greene Co, TN to Ohio and Illinois,
etc?
I have a DODD connection (William>Edward>William) to the LITTLERs (John
and Samuel), CHAMBERS (Catherine), ROSS (Alexander) and MINSHALL
(Rachel) and would love to compare notes.
