We received the LDS microfilms for the New Kent Personal Property Tax
1782-1863. We plan to start viewing the microfilms this week, probably
Tuesday.
Any lookups?

Could someone please tell me if there is a Graves Registration division in
Henrico Co. and, if so, give me the mailing address? I'd like to find out
where the remains of those buried in my ggg-gfa's "family plot" at his home

Previously, listers suggested a search at Hollywood Cemetery but the remains
of the Rev. Philip COURTNEY and his family members are not there.
Also, is there an Henrico County Genealogical Society? If so, please send me

Hi:
I'm new to the list and wanted to let you know I am searching for "original"

He appears in Henrico Co, page 11, Madison W. Richmond, and also on page 285,

Joane,
The Library of VA has cemetery records for the City of Richmond owned
cemeteries on microfilm in its miscellaneous films. You might check about an
interlibrary loan or possibly getting them through the Family History Center
near you. The cemeteries include Shockoe, Hollywood, Riverview and Maury.
There may be others, possibly Oakwood. My first guess would be Shockoe if
you've checked Hollywood.
Good luck.
