I have re-subbed to this list in the hopes of getting more information.
A year or so ago, I posted my query about Epaphroditus Lavare, born
1789, supposedly in Williamsburg. This information came from the death
certificate of his son, William Taber Lavare, in Fairhaven, MA. The
responses I received were interesting. There were no Lavares listed in
any Williamsburg record that anyone could find, but there seemed to be a
high incidence of males named Epaphroditus and the closest name was an
Epaphroditus La
I am looking for information concerning John Parsons. John arrived on the
ship "Marygold" in 1619, and lived at James Citty, at Treasurers Plantation.
This is all I have on him at this time. I think he is my immigrant
ancestor. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has info.
