Thank you for your generosity!
I am seeking ancestors of Gary Davis and Rosannah Peck.
Gary b 1763 Faquier, VA. They m Frederick Co 2 Apr 1787
Gary Davis (or a namesake?) served in the War of 1812, but NARA has no
record.
I know nothing more of Rosannah.
So, I guess the books to check would be Abstracts of Faquier Birth Records,
Abstracts of Wills Faquier, Faquier Co Deeds,Faquier Co Marriage Bonds, 1787
census of Frederick Co., and War of 1812 Bounty Land and Pension
Applications.
That sounds like an aw

Dear Mary Ann,
I am another cousin doing reseaarch on William and Sarah Wilkinson and
have been in correspondence with Barbara Meives for several years I
would be more than happy to compare information. Sarah is still a
problem. Have not been able to determine her parents, where she was born
or where she and William married. Do know they were married in 1791 and
that she was several years older than William so Fox could have been the
surname of a previous marriage. Would appreciate hearing from you and

Hello,
Thank you for your generosity. Looking for reference to the name
Pritchett/Pritchard.
Particularly a LEWIS PRITCHETT. Have turned over every stone on this name,

Father and son -
Lewis Pritchett was connected to Philip Pritchett, William Pritchett and
Christopher Pritchett I believe who was the original land grant holder. Just

Is this the same Elizabeth Barry that married John Hereford?... also I have

In the Frederick County, MD marriage licenses by Margaret E. Myers, Elizabeth
Chinn to John Wilson, issued 8 Jun 1796.

Hello,
I have the Hanna/h surname in some of my VA books. Do you mean that you have
never found the Hanna surname that married an Ashford surname? Please let me
know. Thank you.

Loudoun County.

Hello,
You know if they went to the same church as old George W. that would make
them well off. My meaning is that they would more likely be easier to find
because of that fact.
In another book Virginia Vital Records; From the Virginia of History and

Hi,
Some of the African American/NA surnames you are researching are also of
interest to me, specifically PAYNE, FIELDS, JACKSON.
What I have collected so far can be found on my website:

Hope we make a connection,

Helen,
Again thank you for your reply. I am sure you are right about the
Ashford's of Fairfax. My problem is that I can not connect My Ashford of
Loudoun Co. to Fairfax Ashford's. I feel sure he is related to them
because
of naming pattern of his children. I do not know if my Michael Ashford is
the
son of John, William, George or Michael Ashford of Fairfax.
Thank for information on George McNely, I did not know of this child.
Happy late Birthday
