Thought I would mention on this list that I located a genealogy line from
a tip on the ALLEN list that Tscharner de GRAFFENREID and first wife Mary
BAKER are the g-g-g-g-g-grandparent of Laura Lane WELCH the wife of George
H. BUSH the current President. This line descends down thru Baker de
GRAFFENREID m. Sarah VASS.

I am trying to find information about a family that lived in Lunenburg
County in 1850 and 1860. Thomas C. Inge married Elizabeth Skinner in
1832 and they had a child, Eudora, born in 1849. Eudora married George
G. Morton on January 22, 1867 in Person County, NC. George G. Morton's
father, Thomas Morton married an Elizabeth Inge from Virginia. I have no
clue as to dates or places. I have found the Inge family in 1850 in
Mecklenburg Co., VA and in 1860 in Halifax County, Va. Thomas C. Inge

Is there anyone in Lunenburg County that can look up a deed for me? I
found a note that I joted down while searching at the library a couple
of years ago and had forgotten to follow up on it. The deed is from the
Lunenburg County Virginia Deeds, 1746-1752 and it has page 367
1/31/1748 (Joseph Morton Cumberland Parrish to Thomas Nash etc.....wife
Elizabeth) This is what I joted down. I would love to be able to have a
copy of the deed or have someone read it for me to find out if there is

1.I suggest you check at the LIBRARY OF VIRGINIA web site and search Marriage
contract by date.
2. I suggest you check the NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM web site, Greenwich,
England and search crew & passenger lists during the time he could havr been
serving aboard ship.
3. Lastly I suggest you check the NATIONAL CENSUS during the particular year
in both Virginia and the State they moved to.
