I'm looking for information on 4 known sons of David Williams and Elizabeth Ayers of Bedford County, hoping that someone on this list might recognize the names. Nearby relatives keep insisting there are or were Williams relatives in Floyd before 1900. Anyway these sons are John, James, Mastin, and Shrewsbury (can't be sure of spelling.) I'm on a quest to help a researcher in Holland locate surviving family members of Culver W. ALDERMAN of Radford, Virginia. He was a Technical Sergeant in the Air Corps and a Crew Chief (engineer) on a transport plane in 1945. In bad visibility, the plane crashed on a hill side near Koblenz city, 14 April 1945, killing the crew. My research has determined that his mother was Gracie ALDERMAN ( Born December 28, 1903 died in January of 1985 in Radford, Virginia) and his father was I believe Giles ALDERMAN. T

Having a problem in Riner. My grand parents are buried in Riner. William Cemetery. Apparently a man has purchased the land. he will not open the gates for us to go on property to see the stones, etc My first question is how to get on land? Secondly, if I want to exhume the bodies and place them on my land where there is a cemetery already. Any one know what procedures i would follow? Thanks Kathleen Estes
