I'm sorry to disagree, but I believe firmly there was a White Sulphur Springs in Montgomery County - at least during the Civil War; it operated as a military hospital at that time. I'm sure I have seen other rererences to it in other histories of the area I've read.

These marriages are at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Christiansburg, VA. However, they do not have the staff to look for them and send out copies. So you must get a researcher or someone to get them for you.

There was a Sulphur Springs (I don't remember the exact name) in Montgomery County near Christiansburg, VA
But, White Sulphur Springs is in Greenbrier County WV
I don't know about any of the newspapers for those areas.
