Hi,
Does anyone on this list have easy access to Cavaliers and Pioneers who
wouldn't mind doing a lookup for me?
Volume 2, page 27 - I would like to have a transcription of the text
regarding John Slater transported by Jno. Newell and Ambrose Clare.
Thanks very much.

PS - Did anyone keep a running list of all our list members and the families
they research, when we all 'checked in' a while back? I didn't think to. I
just realized that would be a nifty reference tool to have,
Hi,
I have ancestors who owned property in both New Kent and King and Queen
Counties. In the not too distant future, I plan to travel to that area and
wonder if, anyone can tell where I might be able to obtain Maps of the area.
What I am interested in are older maps that could be overlaid on todays maps
to show approximate locations. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is anyone related to David Crawford (Crafford) who settled in New Kent Co.?
Here is an excerpt about him from: "Heritage of William Murphy Crawford and
Almina (Boggs) Crawford Family", by Edna Crawford Matthews
"(2) David Crawford, only son of (1) John Crawford, was born in Ayrshire,
Scotland about 1625 and came to America with his father about 1643. He was
married in 1654 in James City County, Virginia.
According to Virginia Land Registry, David purchased 86 acres in the Parish
of "Martyn's Hundred" i

Here's another query for the list: Does anyone on this list have connections
to Dudley Williams of New Kent - there were 3 of them, father, son and
grandson. The one I'm most interested in is Dudley Williams III, born c1786
in New Kent, died after 1840.

Do any subscribers have access to the microfilmed St. Peter's Parish
Register? I have access to the published transcript, but seek access to the
microfilmed Register from which it was based.
Thank you.

Just thought I'd ask the folks on this list if anyone has connections to the
Foster or Joseph Higgins, who appeared on the New Kent 1790 Personal Property
Tax List?
If so, please contact me!
Thanks -
