I have been tracing the Redmond family in NC. I believe that they might have
been in Stafford Co about this time. My problem is I can not get passed my
Daniel Morgan Redmond who was born in NC circa 1790. I believe that his
father was John who lived in SC, many of the families in this area were from
VA.
I am particularly interested in William Redmond, do you know where he went or
any of his descendants?
Please forgive if there are many mistakes in typing as I have a cast on my
right hand.
Thanks,
I don't know if this will help you any. Winifred "Winney" Garrison was the
daughter of Elizabeth Birdwell and Aaron Garrison. Winifred was born or
christened 28 Apr 1751 in Stafford Co., Va.

Dear Stafford Co. Researchers,
I was wondering if any of you are working on the BOWLING or GARRISON family
of Stafford and Tazewell Cos., VA. I have quite a bit on Jarret from his
Rev. War pension file, but I don't know much about his father Benjamin. Did
Jarret have any siblings? I would assume so. Both Benjamin and Jarret
married GARRISONs. How are Jarret's mother and wife related?
Here's my line down to my grandparents.
Descendants of Benjamin Bowling

Need dates, background, etc. on Elizabeth ELKINS, daughter of Ralph ELKINS
(born cira 1639 in England) married to ------- Ashton (first name unknown but
would like to find out), daughter of James ASHTON. Ralph ELKINS died 9
September, 1690 in STAFFORD County, Virginia. His daughter Elizabeth ELKINS
married William REDMOND, on whom we also do not have dates. Their daughter
Susanna REDMOND was born circa 1703 and died in STAFFORD County, VA. So I
think we might presume these generations remained in STAFFORD
