I have quite a bit of information on this family on my website... There
are several issues of the "Vredenburg Searcher" that dealt with the
family... Go to:
http://www.cybersurfers.net/~vredenb/v_searcher.htm
and go to the link to "Vol. 3, No. 2 and Vol.3, No. 3, Fall 1995"
( http://www.cybersurfers.net/~vredenb/vs08.html ) This and the next
two issues have alot on the family.
Good Luck
Larry Vredenburgh
This is an excellent resource for Social Security
information. It will even tell you the state and
approximate date a number was issued on a living
person. I put my number in and it told me it was
issued in New York state between 1970 - 1971.

I am looking for information on John S.Vredenburgh who was in the mercantile
and lumber business in Sangamon County and/or Sprinfield. Also, information
on his son Peter. Any help would be gratly appreciated.
