I will be visiting this area July 5 and only have one day to spend. I'm looking for someone who can do some research before I arrive.
I am interested in finding:

Thank you, Jean! This will definitely help! Rogers is such a common name,
and there were already so many of them, even back then. Plus, it doesn't
help that this family I'm studying just did not "sit tight". They moved
throughout three different counties in Vermont.
Plus, unless I'm wrong, they mixed with people (or maybe family) in New
York - if the 1850 census I found for Mary Handy and her mother is correct.
I already knew from Vermont census, that Mary and her mother were born in
Massachusetts. In

Hi Hilma,
I'll keep this info "on file" as you never know if and how all these Rogers
connect. But so far none of yours seem to match the direct line of my
Rogers (in-law) ancestors. Mine seem to go back to Rhode Island about 1787,
and I've yet to find any siblings of that person as I'm waiting for films to
arrive.
Thanks for your reply, and who knows .... someday, maybe we might cross
family lines ....

Hello Jean,
Do you happen to have the Brandon burial records on hand? The reason is
that I'm looking for a Margaret Smith and Warren Smith burial records. She

Since you mention that the Rogers family was so numerous in Addison County, and other places in Vermont, perhaps this has nothing to do with your family. Just thought I would mention it--in case. My gr. grandmother Susan St. Pierre/Pier/Pierce was married to a Cheney Rogers in March, 1852. He was from Ferrisburg, and they had a daughter Mary, and possibly a son Ezra. Susan later married Frank Roberts, and my grandmother, among others, became the half-sibling of Mary Rogers. I know nothing more of Chene

He had at least one son who was named Wait Hodgdon. (Some family records
